Soups

We're not just another sandwich shop and our soups are all part of what makes Oby's a special place to eat. We serve all soups with crackers or garlic bread with our garlic butter.

Clam chowder

Our clam chowder is a hearty soup of heavy cream, real butter and large amounts of clam. We've simmered a few onions, applewood bacon pieces, and a sprinkling of paprika to get your taste buds hopping!

Potato Soup

Our potato soup is loaded with potatoes freshly peeled and diced right in our kitchen and simmered in a thick, heavy cream. We serve it with freshly grated cheese, diced purple onions and crumbled applewood bacon pieces.

Gumbo

Prepared daily, our gumbo helped put us on the map and is an tradition. Believe it or not, it's a roux-less base, with shrimp, seafood, veggies, and okra served over a warm bed of fluffy rice.

Chili

Slide your spoon into a bowl of chili made with special seasoning, beef, onions peppers, chili powder, garlic, crushed tomatoes. We make it fresh - 10 gallons at a time, but it goes fast! Try a bowl and you'll see why!
